Yes, Bev you can print this out. Just go up to File and in the drop down menu is the print button. You might want to choose to print pages 1-2 only though or you will print the whole blog. Hope you enjoy the recipe!

Concord Road (there's a sign) is the last remaining bit of the Old Danville/Wytheville Turnpike which was the first main road through Meadows of Dan. I have to agree with you about the bypass, although I am relieved to see the big trucks out of town during our little busy season. Thanks for the great description of Meadows of Dan and it would be AWESOME if you decided to take on Tuggles Gap Restaurant!

Thanks Jack! We would love to see a play at Blackfriars. As historians and professional museum people, the idea of seeing historic plays in this type of setting is very appealing. We will let you know if we come up your way - which we plan to do.

Love the blog entry. When you come to Staunton again, let me know and I'd be happy to get you a couple tickets to the Blackfriars Playhouse. We'd love to see a blog entry about the ASC!

I've been using a local bank, the Bank of Floyd, for years after I just couldn't afford all the fees that a huge banking conglomerate was charging. Great service, no fees and I know everyone!

Lisa,

Orange Blossom sounds like fun. Dan got some deals but yours were better. I've to Google to see if our town has any non-chains.

Lisa, you are making me want to shop! Now I need to make a trip to Tenn. so I can visit Orange Blossom! It is certainly the best time of year to get bargains on clothes. Next year I am considering planning my holiday get together with my family the weekend after the 25th of Dec. so I can save even more.
